Terms of Service

RECLIO is a macOS application that records your screen and lets you edit the result locally: trimming clips, adjusting the canvas, adding zoom, and exporting. RECLIO requires macOS 13.0 or later.

Subject to these Terms, LITCORE grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use RECLIO on Macs you own or control.

• Recording and exporting are free, permanently. No license is required for RECLIO's core recording and editing functionality.
• Canvas backgrounds, the zoom track, and cursor effects are paid features. New installs get a 7-day trial with full access; after the trial, these features require an active Personal or Team license.
• Licenses are one-time purchases, not subscriptions.

You may not resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute RECLIO. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits this despite the restriction.

Personal and Team licenses are sold as one-time purchases and processed by Polar, acting as Merchant of Record. Polar is the legal seller of RECLIO licenses, handles payment processing, issues receipts, and manages applicable taxes. Your payment details are handled entirely by Polar under its own terms and privacy policy; LITCORE never sees your card number.

A license key may be activated on a limited number of devices at a time, managed through Polar's activation system. If you reach that limit, you can deactivate a device from within RECLIO (Settings → License) to free up an activation.

For refund requests, contact support@litcorelabs.com. Refunds are handled in accordance with Polar's standard refund policies and applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

Using RECLIO requires granting certain macOS permissions (Screen Recording and Accessibility are required; Microphone and Camera are optional and only used if you enable them for a recording). See our Privacy Policy for details on what each permission is used for and what data, if any, it involves.

Everything you record and edit with RECLIO is yours. Recordings and edits are created and stored locally on your Mac; LITCORE has no access to them and claims no rights over them.

You are solely responsible for the content you record, and for complying with applicable law when recording, including, where relevant, obtaining consent from anyone whose screen, voice, or image appears in a recording, and any recording or wiretapping laws in your jurisdiction.

You agree not to use RECLIO to:

• Record or distribute content that infringes someone else's rights, or that is unlawful, defamatory, or fraudulent
• Circumvent RECLIO's licensing or activation system
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the software

RECLIO, including its code, design, icon, and the RECLIO name and logo, is owned by LITCORE LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to LITCORE's trademarks or branding beyond using the software as intended.

LITCORE may release updates to RECLIO from time to time, including bug fixes, new features, and security improvements. Some features may require a current version of the software to work correctly.

RECLIO is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that RECLIO will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every system configuration.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LITCORE will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, recordings, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use RECLIO.

You may stop using RECLIO at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially violate these Terms, including circumventing licensing or engaging in unlawful use. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as required by law or as described in Section 3.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms as RECLIO evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of RECLIO after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
